Overview
Gas plans and specifications must be approved before starting work on new or altered gas installations.
Eligibility
Gas contractors must submit plans and specifications before starting work on new or altered gas installations for filling plants, dispensing units, and all installations with a combined input equal to or greater than five million British Thermal Units (BTUs).
Description
Plan approvals are required for all refrigeration plants, digester / landfill gas installations, medical gas installations, propane or natural gas filling plants, dispenser units, installations in public buildings and installations exceeding 5,000,000 BTUs.
Fees
Unless otherwise specified, Fees exclude the harmonized sales tax (HST).
