Overview
Authorizes an individual to carry on the business of a Hide Dealer in New Brunswick and to buy, sell or barter the hides of bear, moose or deer.
Eligibility
Hide Dealer licences can only be purchased at the Public Service Desk at the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Complex, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Resident and Non-Resident persons applying for a Hide Dealer's licence must apply for the licence by paying the appropriate fee and providing the following information:
- Name and address
- Location of warehouses, shops or other buildings in which the hides will be stored
- The place from which the hides will be shipped out of the Province
Hide Dealers are required to provide specific information within specified periods to the department in order to retain their licence.
Description
A licensed Hide Dealer may export the hides of bear, moose or deer provided the appropriate permits are acquired. Resident and Non-resident Hide Dealer's Licences expire annually on December 31.
