Motor Vehicle Dealer Licence

Eligibility

Application for a dealer's, sub-dealer's, used motor vehicle dealer's, motorcycles or wrecker's licence must be made on a form provided and must contain:

name and address of the applicant,

if the applicant is a partnership, the name and address of each partner,

if the applicant is a corporation, the names of the principal officers of the corporation,

location where business is going to be conducted,

nature of such business,

zoning approval from authority having jurisdiction over area in which premises is situated, and

other information as may be required by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles.

All applications will be verified.

The required fees and a bond of guarantee must accompany all applications.

A Motor Vehicle Inspector will perform a site visit to ensure that the site complies with standards.
