Overview

An amusement device inspection is required to ensure that amusement devices meet the requirements of the Safety Code for Amusement Rides.

Inspections are carried out by the Inspection Services branch of this Department on an annual basis.

Eligibility

All amusement rides must be inspected before going into service.

Description

Each year, an amusement device must be registered with the Department and inspected before the beginning of the season for the operation of the device.

The owner of an amusement device is required to file a schedule of set-up on the device for the season.
