Overview

Required to transfer wildlife parts, including, but not limited to, meat of big game animals, to another individual.

Eligibility

Persons in possession of legally harvested or acquired wildlife parts may be eligible for a permit. Please contact your local office for further information.

Persons in possession of wild deer, bear, or moose meat, for which they have a registration permit, are eligible for a transfer permit.

For species other than deer, moose, and bear, the issuance of these permits is at the discretion of the District staff.

Description

The most common use for wildlife transfer permits is to transfer possession of meat of big game animals to another individual. You must present your registration permit to receive a transfer permit.
