Description

The aim of the Collection Deposit service is to provide all New Brunswickers with reasonable access to quality library services and collections. Through a partnership between the local public library and an eligible facility, small collections of library materials are provided to a receiving facility based on a pre-determined schedule.

Library materials are selected and prepared by library staff, and include fiction and non-fiction books, magazines, audiobooks, large print books, CDs and DVDs. Replacement fees will be charged for lost or damaged items.

An employee or volunteer from the participating institution is designated to manage this service. He or she is responsible for requests for library materials, picking up and returning collection deposit items and managing their use in the facility.

To register, you will need to submit the Request for Collection Deposit Service Form found on the NBPLS website. For more information, contact us by email at [email protected] or consult with staff at your local public library.
