CHARLOTTETOWN (GNB) - Campbellton’s Courtney Charlong won a bronze medal today in the women’s 500 metre short track speed skating at the 2023 Canada Winter Games in Charlottetown.

Charlong served as one of Team New Brunswick’s flag bearers during the opening ceremony. Her bronze medal performance is the team’s third medal of the Games.

Earlier this week, Dexter Richard earned a bronze medal in the men’s individual trampoline. He and teammate Eric Davis also won a gold medal earlier this week in the men’s synchro trampoline.

Friday’s Team New Brunswick action will feature biathlon, men’s hockey, long track and short track speed skating, ringette, squash, table tennis and wheelchair basketball.
