FREDERICTON (GNB) – An inmate, a man in his 30s, died on June 24 while on supervised release from the Southeast Regional Correctional Centre. He was serving an intermittent sentence. Adult Custody Services became aware of his passing on July 25.
At the request of his next of kin, his name is not being released at this time.
This information is being released in accordance with the policy of the Department of Justice and Public Safety.
A coroner’s inquest will be held. The date will be set once all relevant investigations are complete.
