FREDERICTON (GNB) – Cannabis and other items were seized from two businesses in Moncton last week by investigators with the Department of Justice and Public Safety’s Safer Communities program.

Two search warrants, filed under provisions of the Cannabis Act, were executed in partnership with the Codiac RCMP and the Integrated Enforcement Unit, at A Touch of Grey Lounge at 281 Collishaw St., Unit E. and at Three Kings Medicinals at 190 Halifax St.

At the first business, a 44-year-old-woman and a 45-year-old man were arrested and subsequently released pending further investigation.

At the second business a 53-year-old woman was arrested and subsequently released pending further investigation.

At both businesses a yet-to-be-determined quantity of cannabis, cannabis derivatives, cannabis products and other items were seized.
