FREDERICTON (GNB) – A male inmate in the custody of the provincial correctional system has died.
The inmate at the Saint John Regional Correctional Centre was transported to the Saint John Regional Hospital on Jan. 29, admitted to hospital, and died Jan. 30.
The man was serving a sentence in custody.
This information is being released in accordance with the department's policy. Neither foul play nor self-harm are suspected. As per policy, the Office of the Coroner has been advised.
