Help is available 24/7 through our free confidential bilingual helpline. Our team of professionals is ready to listen, support and guide you towards wellness.

Whether you need someone to talk to, resources to manage your symptoms, or a referral for individualised treatment services, we are here for you.  We provide a non-judgmental, compassionate, and confidential environment.

What to expect


The addiction and mental health helpline will offer a free, bilingual (French and English), and confidential one-on-one approach to help people of all ages. 
 
It is available 24/7 and will be staffed by CareCoaches, who are trained clinicians.  CareCoaches will be available from 8 a.m. to midnight with Tele- Care 8-1-1 providing after-hours support.

When you reach out to the free 24/7 provincial addiction and mental health helpline, you can expect:

  • Navigation support and referrals to government services and community agencies that contribute to the delivery of substance use, gambling, and mental health services including such issues as:
    • difficulty coping with stress   
    • self-harming thoughts or behaviors
    • overwhelming feelings of anxiety
    • Feelings of depression
    • Being worried about your thinking 
  • Support and guidance to families, friends, community agencies and others through education, outreach, and consultation 
  • Coaching by providing supporting information and education to help with your concerns 
  • Crisis intervention and dispatching to regional Addiction and Mental Health Mobile Crisis Services and emergency services when appropriate 
  • Follow-up phone calls (with your consent and when appropriate)
