FREDERICTON (GNB) – The results of the province’s wild turkey draw are now available.

Hunters can verify the draw results by checking the Department of Natural Resources and Energy Development website. When verifying the draw results, applicants are required to provide their Outdoors Card number and date of birth.

“Congratulations to this year’s successful applicants and best of luck to hunters planning to take part in what is quickly becoming a spring tradition,” said Natural Resources and Energy Development Minister Mike Holland. “The 2023 draw saw the highest number of available wild turkey licences to date. Be safe and enjoy.”

There were more than 4,000 applications for the 550 wild turkey licences available for this year’s hunt, which runs from May 8 to 20. Wild turkey-specific tags and information packets have been mailed to successful applicants. Once this tag has been received, the applicant can purchase their licence online, through the Fish and Wildlife Licensing System, or in person at authorized vendors or Service New Brunswick service centres, starting April 24.
