FREDERICTON (GNB) – An open house which is part of the consultation process regarding the Restigouche Wilderness Waterway project, originally scheduled in Saint-Quentin for today, has been rescheduled to next week due to the weather.

Also, an additional open house will take place next week in Kedgwick. The dates for two other open houses remain unchanged. The updated schedule is as follows:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Robinsonville Community Fire Hall, 30-36A Upsalquitch River Road.
  • Thursday, Nov. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sugarloaf Provincial Park, Atholville.
  • Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Auberge Évasion de Rêves, 11 Canada St., Saint-Quentin.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Salle du Citoyen, Centre municipal, 4 St-Jean St., Kedgwick.

The consultation process will provide an opportunity for the public to obtain more information on what is being proposed and to discuss the project through open houses and an online survey.
