Numerous gold occurrences were recently discovered, including up to 109.5 g/t Au, to the west of the Moose Brook claims. A historical geochemical survey indicated strong potential for gold occurrences on the claims. Stream sediment surveys have identified strongly anomalous values ranging up to 195 ppb Au. Limited reconnaissance soil surveys have identified anomalies ranging up to 77 ppb Au. The claims include 107 claim units that cover 2334 ha, located approximately 90 km west of Bathurst. Highway 180 passes through the northern claims and logging roads provide additional access.
